Trip To Formby Squirrel Reserve
Year 2 had a great time at Formby Squirrel Reserve. We explored four different habitats. The first habitat we visited was a broad leafed wood. Here you will find many woodland creatures like small birds, hedgehogs and worms. Next we explored an evergreen forest. Pine trees are home to red squirrels who feed on the small seeds inside pine cones. The third habitat we visited was the sand dunes, this is home to maram grass and sand lizards. Finally we went on to the beach and found jelly fish and the remains of shell fish.
