Big Go and Grow Project with Juice FM
On Monday 21st March Barlows Allotment Society welcomed Adam , Brian Dunn and Huey McGowan from Juice FM and two Liverpool City Council Rangers to our school for the launch of the ‘Big Go and Grow’ project.
During the afternoon the children were treated to talks and demonstrations about all aspects of the environment ranging from healthy eating to how to reduce our carbon footprint.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and learnt lots of new skills and gardening tips. We have already started our planting using the equipment kindly donated, and are looking forward to seeing the fruits of our hard work in the coming months.
