In November 2010 Year 6 pupils at Barlows Primary School were in for a real treat when Jamie Carragher turned up to take part in their afternoon lesson!

Jamie Carragher attended the lesson led by Liverpool Football Club to show his support for the Tactics 4 Families Programme. The Tactics 4 Families programme is in it’s 3rd year at Barlows Primary School and has been a resounding success with pupils, parents, carers and staff.

The programme is aimed at supporting positive family relationships through the delivery of the following key messages:

Work as a team
Get off the bench
Talk a good game
Sing your support
Play by the rules
Get up; don ‘t give up
You’ll Never Walk Alone

Pupils participate in a range of interactive ,team and individual activities to grasp a good understanding of the messages and how they can apply them t their own family life.

Each year the children thoroughly enjoy the workshops and look forward to seeing the Tactics 4 Families Team led by Mark, Clare and Forbes at LFC.
