On Thursday 28^th April 2011 the children from Years 1 and 2 visited Emmanuel Church. The Rev. Mike Hindley conducted a wedding ceremony to explain the ritual of marriage and some of the symbolism. Jacob and Niamh were excellent as the Bride and Groom, Chris was a sensible Best Man and they had some very smart Bridesmaids and Pageboys.

In the afternoon the children celebrated the upcoming Royal Wedding with an outdoor Reception come Street Party. The children looked wonderful and many sported crowns they had made. The playground looked very patriotic with red, white and blue bunting the children had also made. The party finished with dancing just like at a real wedding.
